‘A Life Without Dogs is no life at all ‘
For as long as I can remember there has always been dogs. My family breed being GSD’s. Which became a very easy personal transition into Alaskan Malamutes almost 2 decades ago both being working and highly motivated dogs, that very quickly become entwined into your lifestyle. It took 8 years of researching and consideration before as a family we introduced our first Malamute into our home, from then on the world of Malamutes opened up a hobby that has taken me Worldwide. Gaining lifelong friendships and experiences that I never thought would be possible and more recently afforded me the honour to judge.
As a small family Kennel in Ireland ‘Libertia’ has been fortunate enough to have bred Multi Champions Worldwide and being able to incorporate into our own breeding programme amazing dogs from other successful kennels. Our breeding has exceeded our expectations from Family pets, Champions to include wins at EDS, WDS, Crufts, Specialities and successful Working Titles achievements.
Whilst it is lovely to have won ribbons, trophies and titles it is always important to remember these will only collect dust. Personally, I believe that the dogs of yesterday, today and tomorrow are what make the memories as this breed is so special and totally captures your heart and soul.
